New Hampshire Condo and More for the Curious from $145/N

Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, a great family destination as well as the summer home of Curious George and his creators, is offering one of the best summer deals to be found. The entire family can stay in a condo for as low as $145 a night, and some units hold up to eight people.

Families may choose from a variety of hotel rooms as well as condos from studios to five-bedroom units, all set in a self-contained mountain resort. This all-inclusive package is available at five Waterville Valley Resort's lodging establishments: Golden Eagle Lodge, Town Square Condominiums, Black Bear Lodge, Village Condominium and the Snowy Owl Inn.

Included in the price of the Waterville Valley Summer Unlimited package are all the activities people cherish in New England each summer: boating, mountain biking, tennis, golf, access to the White Mountain Athletic Club, a scenic chair lift ride up Snow's Mountain and open access to the small city's open gym program. Families staying for at least three nights also can send their children between the ages of 6-12 to Kids Camp.

Margret and H.A. Rey, authors of the popular children's book series, made Waterville Valley their home. (Read more about this at "The Place Curious George Calls Home.") The package also includes savings at many of the summer activities at the Rey Center's Curious George Cottage, and productions of the North Country Center for the Arts Children's Theatre.

Rediscover what a family summer vacation is all about. Shop in the Town Square and participate in Waterville Valley's many community activities from outdoor concerts and plays to parades. Bike or hike into the White Mountains National Forest from your hotel and explore the ridgeline, rock formations, and vistas.

For more information and reservations, visit www.visitwatervillevalley.com or call 800/GO-VALLEY. Note that the website is the place to check for other lodging specials, as rates remain especially low until "peak" leaf-peeking in early October.
